About Kuda

Kuda doubles as a microfinance bank and also a payment solution provider. Kuda allows its users to open a digital bank account just like Opay. They also give out loans as well they are payment solutions providers. Kuda was birthed as a result of frustration with excessive bank charges (for inconsistent services) being faced by bank customers. The loopholes in the digital infrastructure of Nigerian banks paved way for Kuda.

According to the information made available on their website, a few years ago, a small team of people determined to transform banking launched a savings app for Nigerians. That app was the first step toward Kuda. Today, Kuda has become more determined and has built a Central Bank-licensed, microfinance bank to help customers get the best out of their money without being overcharged.

Kuda includes tools for tracking spending habits, saving more, and making the right money moves. So no matter who you are or where you live in Nigeria, Kuda has got you covered. Kuda claims to know the pain that comes with using a regular bank and hopes to make things work better for everyone.

How To Become A Kuda Bank Agent

You must be aware of the startup fees before starting any business. Becoming a Kuda agent is free as there are no fees associated with it. Simply register on their website or app to get started. Additionally, obtaining a Kuda POS device is cost-free. However, before Kuda will give you a POS machine, you must meet a few requirements. You must first register as an agent with Kuda to receive a free POS machine. After then, you must have used Kuda for several transactions. To demonstrate your sincerity and readiness for business, do this.

You will receive instructions on how to get your free POS once your transaction history has been verified as satisfactory. There is a wide range of transactions you can carry out on behalf of clients if you're a registered Kuda POS agent. Customers are charged a set fee for each transaction.

A few of these are:

1. ATM card withdrawal (Visa, Verve, and Mastercard accepted by Kuda)

2. Money transfer to any Nigerian bank

3. Checking the balance of a bank account

4. Data subscription and top-up of airtime

5. Cable subscription (DSTV, Gotv, Startimes, and so on).
