You can now talk on ChatGPT. See How

Since the popular AI model "ChatGpt" launched, several people have punched various texts into the "message ChatGpt" box and have gotten all types of responses. Also, users have testified to how the model has stayed helpful since its takeoff till now.

Yesterday, 21st November 2023, OpenAI announced that ChatGpt voice is now available to all free users. This means that after downloading the app on your device, you can tap the headphone icon to start a conversation. The interesting part is that you don't even have to pay for this new feature.

It's exactly the opposite of the initial feature where you fill in texts and get your results in texts. Here you roll in your questions with your voice and hear another voice speak your answers to you. This already sounds like a good idea for people who do not like to type more.

When OpenAI made this announcement via its X page yesterday, it had about 13,000 likes and more than 2,000 reposts revealing that users were overwhelmingly enthusiastic about this new feature. Here are some of the comments under the Tweet;

An X user replied:

"Never stop shipping 🧡 glad our free users get to experience this magic."

Another X user replied:

"As an English language educator, I've been doing some awesome things with gpt4, custom instructions, and voice. Very excited that my students, who can't afford subscriptions to ChatGPT Plus, will now have access to this tool. Language learning is turbocharged!Thank you!!!!"

In the quotes, a user said;

"Throughout the drama, the team at OpenAI still launched a new feature, enabling ChatGPT with voice to all free users."

Another said;

"Perhaps my future kids won't ever learn to type on a keyboard.

With this voice feature, you can pick any of the 5 voice models provided to use. You can also test each of them until you find any that might suit you.

It is such a good time to be alive and users of ChatGpt are about to have the time of their lives!
