Earn more as a Freelance Driver. How?
First, you must understand that freelance drivers are not tied to a particular boss or organization, so they can offer their driving services flexibly and the salary doesn't have to wait till month end. However, you can still make more money for yourself by trying out any or more of the following:
Consider Rideshare Services
Rideshare services are the likes of Uber, Bolt, Indrive, Rida Nigeria, and co which allow drivers to provide transportation to customers using their vehicles. These services employ the use of mobile apps to connect passengers with the nearest drivers and vice-versa. Drivers can choose when they want to go for a trip and when they are not up to it, this is the flexibility that comes with working as a freelance driver. When passengers make requests, drivers get notified and respond if they are available. Although the earnings payment is made to the driver, the rideshare companies are entitled to a certain percentage based on agreement, terms, and conditions.

Delivery Services
While motorcycles are the most common vehicles for delivery services, especially in Nigeria, there are packages that motorcycles can not handle. Hence, the need for cars as they can be a great alternative/solution to handling larger and more delicate packages. All you have to do is connect with business owners or customers who need their products safely transported to certain destinations in a car. Offering good and top-notch services to these business owners can make the business continuous.
Road Trip Hire
People want to have fun by going on road trips and excursions and they don't want to drive. If you are a driver who loves being on the road for a long while taking in the beauty of the scenery and vibing to good music, you may want to tell people that you can drive them around at a cost. You can up your customer service game by providing a cool atmosphere (maybe putting on some AC), blasting good music (if your client doesn't mind), or engaging your passengers in good conversation. That way, they want to come again or refer people.

Teach Driving
If you think you have the skills required to teach people how to drive, put it to good use. Monetize it while marking out a timetable that allows you to attend other assignments too. Get all you need including the license and tell people who need to hear about your business. It's freelance, so you can talk out time with your students - a time that will be comfortable for both of you.
Personal Drivers
While some personal drivers may have to report to a boss and be paid monthly, some drivers work with a particular client on-call basis. The arrangement has to benefit both the client and the driver, so this gives the drivers the freedom they need to work on their schedule. On the flip side, clients enjoy the convenience of reliable transportation anytime they need it. So, it's a win-win for both parties.
