Job Summary

Key Responsibilities and Deliverables

Delivery of IT Solutions and Set-up of IT Infrastructure for New Business:

  • Understand the business requirement as determined by the Country Manager

  • Set-up of IT infrastructure
  • Develop IT applications and the subsequent testing and roll-out of these applications
  • Monitor the functioning of IT applications

Operations Support:

  • Periodically monitor the security of IT systems in the company
  • Provide remote/on-site support, co-ordinate with local contact to resolve issues
  • Prepare and update system documentation and reports
  • Prepare standard trouble shooting guide for recurring problems
  • Maintain monthly dashboard and provide necessary information to the management
  • Ensure 0% IT downtime across the country
  • Proactively identify the possible breakdown/ issues
  • Delivering support to existing business users; investigating and resolving application data errors, data
  • discrepancies and queries
  • Perform any other duties that may be assigned from time to time

Development of IT Solutions:

Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Design, specify, configure, and install analog and digital CCTV systems.
  • Maintain and upgrade existing analog and digital CCTV systems as needed.
  • Support users of CCTV system by responding and resolving any issues on client’s device in real time.
  • Establish working relationships with vendors and contractors pertaining to CCTV systems.
  • Assist with the configuration, deployment, and support of network assets.
  • Installation and maintenance of alarm system, access control, panic buttons.
  • Be familiar with network operating system
  • Provide recommendations about accessing security and support
  • Troubleshoot all technology issues
  • Maintain log and/or list of required repairs and maintenance
  • Ensure installation of lock out programs

Qualifications & Skills Required

  • B.Sc., HND, OND, C&G, or Trade Test II & I in Electrical and/or Electronic Engineering/computer science and ICT;

Job Responsibilities

  • Proactively scopes the technical solutions required to address network issues, assesses network needs, and recommend solutions that optimize value for the VDT Network.
  • Investigates, test and recommend variety of new equipment.

Summary

  • As a Senior Database Engineer at Paga, you will have ownership for the implementation and technical effectiveness of broad functional and/or technical areas of the data components on the platform.
  • You will be expected to contribute meaningfully to the design and improvement of the solutions you work on.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements
