In 2018, the airline also created a division called Air Peace Hopper. 

About Air Peace

The airline is founded by Allen Onyema, a Nigerian businessman and lawyer. Onyema asserts that he founded the airline intending to use it as a vehicle to open up economic opportunities for young people in Nigeria. With Dornier 328 and Boeing 737 aircraft, the airline launched operations. Their first international flight was from Lagos to Ghana's Accra's Kotoka International Airport was established in 2017. In Nigeria's domestic airline market as of 2018, Air Peace had the biggest market share. The airline received its first Boeing 777s in the same year, and in 2019 it started operating flights to Sharjah. In 2020, flights to Johannesburg, South Africa, began.

In September 2019, when xenophobic violence against foreigners broke out in South Africa, Air Peace offered to transport Nigerian citizens for free. To take advantage of this offer, more than 300 people flew on specially arranged Boeing 777 flights from Johannesburg to Lagos.
