WIGWE Varsity appoints a Pioneer Vice Chancellor as the Institution Prepares to Launch

As Wigwe Varsity gets ready to join several other Nigerian universities to offer quality education to Nigerian youths, it has appointed Prof.Miles David from Philadelphia to be the pioneer vice chancellor. 

When Herbert Wigwe, the owner of the university talked about the University last year, he stated that the goal is to build a higher institution that is both locally and globally impactful. Going as far as Philadelphia to choose a Vice-chancellor only says how much the school is working towards its goal. 

As per the institution's statement, Davis, from Philadelphia, PA, USA, arrives with an outstanding track record of enhancing academic standards and promoting entrepreneurial endeavors. Also, according to Wigwe University, Davis has an interesting track record of cultivating impactful leaders and is poised to propel the institution to unparalleled achievements.

Wigwe University published a statement where it officially welcomed the new vice chancellor saying, "Wigwe University proudly welcomes Prof. Miles Davis as its pioneer Vice Chancellor, signalling a thrilling beginning with fearless leadership and groundbreaking innovation.

“From Philadelphia, PA, USA, Prof. Davis brings a stellar record of elevating academic excellence and fostering entrepreneurship. His remarkable achievements include spearheading AACSB accreditation for the School of Business and launching a game-changing centre for entrepreneurship." 

According to information obtained from Wigwe University's website as of 8th January, 2024, the university launches in 257 days which means that admissions will be on for prospective applicants in September 2024. 

Also, the University has invited people who wish to study at the Wigwe University to sign up on the school portal and they will be contacted immediately.
