Job Description
The Team
- You will join the Pricing Team and play a fundamental role in developing and executing the pricing strategies for our family of products.
- You will be responsible for monitoring and optimizing our daily prices, working closely with our operations, marketing, and finance teams to ensure the achievement of our ambitious growth objectives.

What You Will Be Doing
- Develop and execute impactful pricing, engagement, and GTM strategies across all our countries in partnership with the Pricing Team
- Help position the brand across all diasporas and markets with robust market research and competitive analysis
- Build hypotheses and implement pricing experimentation to understand the market sensitivity to pricing change across all the markets we operate. Monitor results and make recommendations to optimize our pricing position using the learnings.
- Proactively identify new data sources and analysis opportunities to ensure the team is making decisions based on objective and comprehensive insights
- Build pricing optimization models and recommendations to support the company’s growth objectives, always maintaining a customer-centric framework. Align with cross-functional stakeholders on objectives, approach, key priorities, and success metrics, leading the execution
- Collaborate closely with other teams to ensure buy-in from a broad range of stakeholders
- Work with the Business Intelligence teams to build and update dashboards, reports, and tools to monitor pricing performance and main revenue KPIs.
- Build and share insights on the local markets in strong partnerships with local teams, marketing, and operations. E.g. competitive landscape, and macro-economic environment in each of the countries the company operates.
- Manage and monitor multiple product pricing strategies across different global markets and corridors. Close collaboration with finance, liquidity, product, and operations to ensure all pricing decisions are aligned with the general Pricing Strategy.
- Perform statistical analysis to measure the market sensitivity to pricing changes
Requirements
What You Should Have:
- 4+ years in sectors that rely on high-volume transactions, dynamic pricing and e.g. Money Transfer, Fintech, Trading, Commodities, Online Travel, Marketplaces, etc.
- 4+ years in Market Sizing and Competitive Research.
- Advanced level of data analysis and manipulation using MS Excel, SQL, and/or Python.
- Ability to conduct deep market research in strong collaboration with cross-functional teams (e.g. marketing, operations, finance)
- Exceptional understanding of the macroeconomic variables, capable of reading the market trends and making immediate pricing recommendations to maximize the opportunities
- Proven ability to develop pricing strategies in a high-growth, competitive, environment on a global scale
- A problem-solving approach to complex business questions and leveraging pricing to create a strong competitive advantage.
- Strong communication skills, and ability to work cross-functionally with product, business insight, and marketing. You can build compelling narratives from data
- Strong commercial acumen & well-rounded business knowledge

- The Flutterwave Graduate Trainee Development Program is the firm’s initiative to invest in the development of recent graduates from the top schools across the country.
- The Graduate Trainee Development Program provides graduates with the knowledge, tools, and experience necessary for success.
- Working alongside experts in the field, you will acquire technical experience in a professional atmosphere that will ensure you develop the skills essential for your career growth.
The program provides a means of developing and assessing the capabilities of new graduates through:

Program Outline
- The Graduate Trainee Program consists of an initial in-person 2-week orientation session.
- After which you will be assigned to your primary team. Coupled with the day-to-day tasks, trainees will enjoy a myriad of learning and development opportunities over the 12 months.
Program Duration
- The program is designed to normally run for 12 months consisting of at least one potential rotation, approx. six months in length, but is flexible based on your developmental goals and the department's ongoing projects.
- Upon successful completion of the program, trainees may be offered a full-time analyst role within a department at Flutterwave.
- Initial placement will be made based on consideration of recommendations by the trainee’s supervisors and the Program Manager, the trainee’s strengths and preferences, and Flutterwave’s business needs.
Selection Criteria
- Degree in Computer Science
- Physically based in Nigeria
- Only eligible if you graduated in and/or after December 2020
- Less than 16 months of experience (including internships)
- Available to start August 1st, and be physically present in Lagos for the 2-week onboarding sessions
- Willing to commit to 12 months

Entrepreneurship and Start-up Manager – Co-creation Hub (CcHUB)
Job Description
- The Entrepreneurship and Startup Manager will be responsible for coordinating acceleration and incubation efforts for entrepreneurs within the SAIL (Senator Abiru Innovation Lab), formerly known as the Community Innovation Space, whilst supporting the training and capacity-building activities.
Responsibilities
Strategy Development and Execution:
- Design, Plan and execute entrepreneurship startup and incubation programs within the space.
- Support the team in developing performance metrics for incubation and acceleration.
- Develop and execute strategy for attracting and selecting deserving and qualified innovative entrepreneurs and startups.
- Prepare business case and initial risk analysis of startups in the SAIL portfolio.
- Actively support in identifying professionals and experts to join the SAIL Expert/Advisory network to support startups in the portfolio and across projects/programs.
- Plan and schedule all activities and sessions for the startup support programs assigned.
- Provide startup support advisory to entrepreneurs through continued strategic guidance in areas such as business modeling, market analysis, financing, fundraising, overall strategy, operations, etc.
- Ensure tight management of milestones and progress of entrepreneurs and start-up companies.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Manage the day-to-day interaction with the incubating startups and work with other units within CcHUB to provide adequate support to ventures in the portfolio.
- Develop, execute and own an operational and engagement strategy for the innovation lab including startups, investors, corporates, mentors, advisors, and domain experts.
- Establish a development strategy to include and guide the implementation of all community development activities such as meetups, design challenges, hackathons, etc.
- Be the switchboard for entrepreneurs to access relevant resources and connections.
- Manage communication between startups and the unit as well as provide monthly progress reports on startups to key officers for prompt decision-making.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Level or equivalent in Management or a related field.
- 3 – 4 years of Entrepreneurial experience or experience supporting startups or working in a startup environment.
- Excellent Written and Oral Communication Skills
- An entrepreneurial & Innovative mindset
- Familiarity with business principles, practices, and methodologies.
- Educational background in technology and/or business-related field
- Organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent presentation skills.
- Understanding of the technology and startup ecosystem.
