The Lagos Bus Rapid Transit popularly known as BRT is a transportation system by Lagos State for the people of Lagos State. The BRT was launched on the 7th of March in 2008 under the governorship of Babatunde Raji Fashola. This transportation has made life easier for the people of Lagos because it is fast, swift, easy, and very affordable. The BRT is operated by Primero Transport Service Limited under the regulation of the Lagos Metropolitan Area Transport Authority (LAMATA).

According to Glassdoor, the basic salary of a BRT driver in Lagos is 80,000 NGN per month with an additional pay of 20,000 NGN which makes it a total of 100,000 NGN per month.
