Recently, LinkedIn published a list of companies that it considers to be the best employers. The job search platform revealed the metrics used for this rating and they include :

  • Diversity and Inclusion

The companies

LinkedIn says there are 25 of them with Ernst&Young, MTN, and sterling bank topping the list. 

EY - Ernst and Young

Ernst and Young, established in 1989 is a global professional services company that provides its clients and customers with audit, advisory, tax, and transaction advisory services. The organization operates 700 branches in more than 150 countries and is currently one of the biggest professional firms in the world. Other services offered by the company include:

  • Strategy, transaction, and transformation consulting

  • Tax function operations

  • Technology transformation

  • Business transformation

MTN

The popular slogan with MTN is "Everywhere you go." The telecommunications company is a popular one that has been around since 1994 providing several African countries with mobile phone, internet, and digital services. MTN currently has more than 280 million subscribers and is recognized as the largest mobile network operator in Africa.  

Sterling Bank Plc

Sterling Bank is a financial company that offers different banking services ranging from personal banking to investment banking to capital market activities. The company was founded in 1960 and it has grown immensely to have about 141 business offices with its headquarters in Lagos, Nigeria, and over 654 ATMs. 

Interswitch Group

Interswitch is an African tech company that is committed to providing its customers with swift payment systems. Services offered by the company include:

NNPC Limited

NNPC (Nigerian National Petroleum Commission) is a global energy company that oversees the affairs of Nigeria's Oil and Gas resources. The company is heavily focused on integrity, excellence, and sustainability. 

Eko Electricity Distribution Company (EKEDC)

Eko Electricity Distribution is a power distribution company in Lagos that is responsible for the supply of electricity to the southern part of Lagos and Agabara in Ogun state. British American Tobacco
