Ikeja Electric, the organization responsible for handling all things electricity for a huge part of Lagos has announced that applications are now open for young engineers looking to join the 2024 Ikeja Electricity Distribution Company (IKEDC) Accelerate Program. 

The program is a route to launch the industrial engineering journey for international significance in the Power sector, simultaneously tackling the need for graduate engineers to launch their professional advancement.

Requirements for Ikeja Electric Young Engineers Program 2024 

IKEDC has outlined certain requirements for potential applicants: 

• Fresh graduate with a minimum grade of second-class lower.

• Bachelor’s Degree in any reputable University.

• Must have studied Electrical/Electronic Engineering or other Power option courses. 

• Completed mandatory youth service scheme (NYSC) by May 2024 or Nigerians before 2019.

• Interested in power engineering and an insatiable desire to learn and grow. 

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Must have developed leadership potential through academic or extracurricular activities.
