STANBIC IBTC Hires New Directors on Subsidiary Boards

Stanbic IBTC Holdings has recently announced that it is hiring 4 new directors to be a part of its subsidiaries. 

This decision was reportedly documented in a group notice sent to the NGX. Per the information included in the document, the action, endorsed by obtaining necessary regulatory approvals, signifies the institution's dedication to strong supervision and providing high-quality financial services to its customers.

The Group said that the recently assigned board members are accomplished experts with significant expertise across different aspects of the financial sector, including banking, asset management, stockbroking, and fintech. 

Who are the New Directors of the STANBIC IBTC? 

The new directors hired at the Stanbic IBTC include the following people: 

Busola Jejelowo 

Busola, who is an experienced professional with more than twenty years in capital markets and investment banking was announced as the Non-executive director on the board of Stanbic IBTC Stockbrokers Limited. 

Oladele Sotubo 

Oladele is the new Chief Executive Officer of the board and before now, he has built a huge profile for himself in Corporate finance advisory, Debt solutions and Equity trading. 

Yinka Johnson 

Yinka Johnson, the new Executive Director at Stanbic IBTC Asset Management Limited is a professional with years of experience in portfolio management, product development, and distribution. 

Olufunke Isichei

Olufunke Isichei, a specialist in payments services with extensive expertise in agency banking, digital platforms, and customer experience, also joined the Board as Non-Executive Director. 

Dr. Demola Sogunle, the Chief Executive of Stanbic IBTC Holdings, conveyed his satisfaction with the high-caliber professionals joining the boards of the Group's subsidiaries.
