The Department of State Services (DSS), also known as the State Security Services (SSS) is a fraction of the Nigerian workforce that was established in 1986 to provide optimum security support to the country. The agency is currently led by the Director General, Mr. Yusuf Magaji Bichi, and has great recognition in all 36 States in the country. While it is true that the DSS recruits job seekers into the organization when the need calls for it, the idea has been cheapened by some individuals pitching fake recruitment to the job needy people. 

What's the News?

There is a fake DSS recruitment ongoing and several people, particularly job seekers have fallen prey to the fraudulent act. The DSS has officially come out to say it does not know about any recruitment exercise going on and has warned the public to steer clear of fraudsters posing as the DSS. Also, the agency has made it clear that it would not charge any fee or solicit money from people looking to get hired. Therefore, the DSS recruitment exercise that has marinated the internet is declared a "clear case of fraud" and no one should get involved.
