Statistician 

NPC employs statisticians to collect, process, analyze, and interpret statistical data related to the population of Nigeria. Information Technology officer

IT officers make sure that the Commission's computer systems and data are secure, reliable, and efficient, which in turn supports the Commission's mandate to provide high-quality population statistics. Other duties assigned to the IT officer include:

• Providing technical support and assistance to users of computer systems and equipment.

• Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners.

• Developing and implementing IT policies and procedures that comply with relevant regulations and standards.

• Managing and safeguarding data and information held by the Commission, including confidential and sensitive data related to population statistics.

• Trying out new technologies and assessing their potential impact on the Commission's operations.

Public Relations Officers (PROs)

PROs help the NPC to effectively communicate its message and intentions to the public through various channels, such as media releases, social media, and public events. They also manage the NPC's reputation and address any concerns or questions from the public. The following are the specific duties of a PRO:

• Managing the Commission's relationships with the media, government agencies, civil society, and organizations.

• Creating and disseminating press releases, speeches, and other communication materials to promote the Commission's work and events.

• Providing information and responding to inquiries from the public and other stakeholders about the Commission's programs and initiatives.

• Monitoring and analyzing media coverage and public opinion about the Commission and its work.

Administrative officer

Administrative officers are mainly involved in organizing meetings, maintaining records, managing budgeting, attending to personnel matters, and ensuring that the organization is complying with relevant laws and regulations. Other duties include:

• Ensuring that financial resources are properly utilized and accounted for. 

• Procurement of goods and services for the commission.

• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of the commission's activities.

• Manages the logistics of the commission.
