Job Description

• Establishing new business with corporate customers & maintaining the relationship for long-term prospects.
• Actively seek out new sales opportunities through regular visits, networking, social media, or other business leads.
• Generating inquiries & regular follow-up with customers by negotiating & closing deals.
• Conduct market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs.
• Meeting customer requirements & having regular follow up with customers.
• Collaborates with sales manager & other team members to achieve better results.
• Sending reports daily for sales visits & sales calls.
• Working towards monthly or quarterly targets.

Requirements

• Graduate with 3-5 years of work experience in Nigeria for sales of raw materials, (detergents raw materials, paint raw materials, food raw materials, soaps & cosmetics raw materials) or a similar profile will be preferred.
• A sales representative handling the packaging industry will be preferred.
• Good interpersonal strong communication skills
• Should be well versed with M-office /Excel.
• Self-motivated with result drive.
• Through an understanding of marketing & passion for sales

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute marketing strategy for Africa in alignment with sales team targets.
• Create, execute, and manage campaigns designed to generate leads and pipelines for YNV Tech Talent offerings.
• Develop and execute marketing plans to increase awareness, consideration, and generate qualified leads through digital, live, and virtual events, and advertising, and build thought leadership positioning in partnership with public relations agency.
• Utilize targeting, customer segmentation, and buyer’s journey to architect innovative multi-channel engagement programs.
• Monitor and evaluate the local competitive environment and trends to ensure plans and activities are relevant to the market and the needs of the business.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure all marketing content is accurate, consistent, and aligned with company objectives.
• Develop and manage Africa's marketing budget.
• Direct copywriters and author copy for website pages, blog posts, emails, and other assets.
• Measure and report on the impact of marketing campaigns and recommendation optimization of campaigns based on learnings.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Marketing or Communications, or equivalent professional experience.
• The creative, passionate mindset with a drive for innovation and constant learning in marketing and communications.
• Strong knowledge of the latest digital marketing tools and ecosystem.
• Experience managing online marketing programs across B2B environments, including events, sponsored content, social media, email marketing, etc.
• Proven record of developing compelling, data-driven storytelling with a customer focus to drive consideration.
• 8+ years’ experience in marketing, including digital, content marketing, events, and public relations.
• Experience leading a team.
• Strong project management skills with experience managing geographically distributed stakeholders.
• Professional fluency in English is essential, both written and verbal.
