From the technology sector to the finance, health, and even the entertainment industry, there is usually a need to execute a project and the only way success is achieved with such a project is if it is properly managed. Project Management refers to the systematic approach that is used to plan, execute, and control projects, making sure that the goal of such a project is achieved within the stipulated time, with the designed budget and scope. Most of the time, it could involve managing or allocating resources, and seeing that the project hits the success block.

The job of a project manager is to make sure that all processes align and the goal is achieved. It can not be described as monotonous because there is usually something to do. There is a constant need for decision-making, problem-solving, and evolving certain circumstances.
Project Managers create a whole project plan, draft out the tasks, the time needed to complete the project as well as the resources and finances needed. Also, the project manager facilitates proper communication among team members and every other person involved to make sure that each person's end is tied and there are no loopholes.
Responsibilities of a Project Manager
Project Managers are expected to fulfill the following obligations which include the following:
Defining clear project objectives.
Allocating resources accordingly.
Creating and managing a budget to fit the company's financial stance.
Following projects through every stage and monitoring their progress by checking with everyone involved.
Identifying the potential risk of any project and finding ways to annul it as soon as possible.
Delegating roles by adhering to the structure designed for the project.
Identifying priorities and even opportunities during the cause of the project.
Assessing the project from time to time to see where adjustments should be made or new plans should be brought in.
Ensuring that deliverables meet the right standard.

Salary of a Project Manager in Nigeria
Project Managers can be entry-level, mid-level, or senior professionals and this determines how much they are paid as salary monthly. According to Glassdoor, the salary of a project manager ranges from about N200,000 - N500,000 monthly. While this amount can be dependent on a project manager's level of experience, the type of organization that they work for can also be a factor. Some companies can pay more or less depending on their financial performance.
