While many people like to think that cinematographers should also edit videos, film editors have this specialty and they do it better. While cinematographers take the raw videos, film editors work on these videos by incorporating visual effects such as sound and filters,  they also trim and rearrange the scenes, and timing to ensure proper storytelling.  Furthermore, these professionals are skilled in using different editing tools such as Adobe premiere pro and several others to achieve good results.

Film Producer

A film producer is like the big boss of the film crew, they act as the central point of the teamwork to coordinate the various aspects of the filmmaking process from the beginning till the end. They initiate the project, secure funding by requesting support, negotiate deals with production companies, secure grants, and partner with financiers to bring the film to reality. Also, they handle logistics and ensure that all hands are on deck till the film is showcased.

Set Designer

The set designer gets familiar with every scene of the film and comes up with a structure of what the environment is supposed to communicate during a scene. They conduct research and gather inspirations that can be transferred to a mood board or developed into a sketch. When the design is approved, the set designer works with a team of artisans, painters, and craft people to create the environment that suits the film production process.

Voice Engineer

Actors may need to sound in some type of way to communicate the situation in a movie; voice engineers make sure that the desired vocal clarity, quality, and consistency are achieved. They select and position microphones appropriately to capture the best sound quality from the cast's voice. Also, they may need to perform a lot of mixing and processing of the voice before the final product is done.

Screenwriter

Ideally, a film happens because someone has a story idea. Something around the scenes that should happen, the reactions that should take place, and the words should be said. Location manager

Before the commencement of film production, a location manager is obligated to secure suitable locations for shooting. This involves scouting potential filming locations that suit the script requirements but within budget, receiving permissions from the owners of these locations, liaising with the other production team, signing agreements and contracts, and arranging for equipment and resources to be transported to the location.

Makeup Artiste

Actors may have to look a certain way to align with the characters and vision of the film. Makeup artists use their creativity to enhance the appearance of the cast and contribute to the storytelling process. They apply different makeup products on the actors to achieve the desired look for the role. These makeups could be a change in lip color, hairstyling, hair shaving, skin features, molds, and many other special effects.

Casting manager

A cast manager usually pays strong attention to details and one of the ways to get the audience glued to a film is when the cast perfectly fits the role. The cast manager must understand the project requirement and character traits. Also, they must be able to analyze the script, break down the roles, and discuss the desired qualities, age ranges, and other character peculiarities. Having all of these in mind, they hunt for talents by calling for auditions or performing natural selection based on their expertise and insights.
