While they get their skills to work, they also enjoy the tangible reward that comes from being consistent with their craft. The salary of a fashion designer cannot be exactly determined every month because they are their employers. However, on average and all things being equal, fashion designers in Nigeria earn about N280,000 or more monthly. 

Gele/Makeup 

Once, a tweet blew up because an artist charged a highly ridiculous amount of money to tie Gele at an event. However, upon deeper reflection, it becomes evident that there is a substantial client base that patronizes this same artist. This situation intensifies the undeniable profitability of gels and make-up artistry. The reality remains that a considerable amount of people are willing to invest in the expertise of these artists. Based on research, on average,  makeup/gele artists will charge N100,000 for a session which means that if 5 sessions happen in a month, that is about N500,000 salary. 

Architecture

Architects are professionals responsible for designing and planning buildings. They employ their skills to create detailed sketches and drawings that are expected to bring structures to life. The job of an architect cuts across various areas and projects which include houses, towers, skyscrapers, and a lot more. The safety and efficiency of a building and its interiors are determined by an architect. Hence, every other professional working on a project works hand-in-hand with an architect to ensure that they are right on track. The average salary of an architect in Nigeria is N300,000/month. 

Interior design

The average salary of an interior designer in Nigeria is about N250,000 monthly. 

Creative Directing

A creative director is the mastermind behind the vision and strategy of projects. They handle teams of writers, designers, and other creatives within a company/organization. It is their job to decide what a website or ad campaign should communicate and look like. They assess a copy and ensure that it is standard enough to be published. Furthermore, they make sure that everyone works together to achieve a common goal which doesn't just come off as good but as the best! Creative directors earn an average salary of N215,000 monthly. 

UI/UX Design

UI(User Interface)/UX (User Experience) designers are the engineers of digital experiences. So, if you use an application very often because you enjoy it, then kudos to whoever designed the app. While UI designers handle every element that makes up the screen, UX designers are more concerned about how you feel when you use the product - was it easy to navigate? Did you have issues logging in or out? However, both designers work together to ensure that you have a seamless journey through the app or web. The average salary of a UI/UX designer in Nigeria is N230,000 per month.

Graphic Design

Graphic designers are also known as brand identity designers because they work on brand logos, fliers, posters, and banners that come off as visually appealing to the audience.  Their job is to shape how a company is perceived by its customers and most times, by just seeing a logo or a couple of colors, one can determine what brand they belong to. While it is important for brand designs to look aesthetically pleasing, they must also tell a story and this is what graphic designers help with. The average salary of a graphic designer in Nigeria is N200,000 monthly. 

Animation

Animation is a complex concept that requires a high level of skill, creativity, and time-intensive effort. Animators work for long on certain projects, pouring their expertise into every detail to create stunning visuals that will resonate with viewers. Due to the laborious nature of the job and the amount of time spent before achieving significant results, animators are mostly well compensated. The average salary of an animator in Nigeria is N350,000 monthly.
