Coronation Merchant Bank Limited has hired 3 new professionals to hold management executive positions within the company.

Arini Awotunde - (CFO) Chief Financial Officer
Saheed Alamutu - (CRO) Chief Risk Officer

Arini Awotunde
Arini Awotunde who has now been appointed as the Chief Financial Officer at Coronation Merchant Bank has always been a reputable expert and part of the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria and the Chartered Institute of Taxation, Nigeria. He is also skilled in advanced comprehension of the International Financial Reporting Standard (IFRS), U.S. Corporate Reporting, and American Financial Accounting Standards.
Saheed Alamutu
Saheed Alamutu is the newly appointed Chief Risk Officer who has spent almost 20 years honing his skills in corporate governance, risk management, and compliance. He is a member of the Chartered Institute of Bankers in Nigeria (CIBN) and also a part of the Chartered Institute of Bankers in Scotland.
Furthermore, Saheed holds membership in the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment (MCSI) and the Institute of Operational Risk (PIOR) in the United Kingdom. In his past positions, he played a crucial role in advancing risk management to become a strategic facilitator of organizational objectives.
Paul Abiagam
Paul Abiagam has more than 25 years of banking experience in Nigeria and West Africa. He is a respected professional, and a member of the American Institute of Chartered Management Accountants (AICPA), and the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA United Kingdom). Also, he is part of the Chartered Institute of Directors, Nigeria (CIoD), and an Honorary Senior member of the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (HCIB).
Paul has worked in different areas like Corporate, Commercial & Investment Banking, Wealth/Pension Management, Project Management, Strategy, International Trade, and Risk Management. He did well in leadership roles, such as being in charge of Corporate Banking at Guaranty Trust Bank Limited, serving as a non-executive director at Guaranty Trust Bank (Côte D’Ivoire) Limited, and being the managing director of Guaranty Trust Pension Managers, which is part of Guaranty Trust Holding Company Plc.
