ChatGpt was launched in 2022 and during the space of 2 years, it has helped people in different ways boost their career doings. Most people have used ChatGpt to get a guide on how to write a dissertation, draw out a weekly social media plan, plan a week-long meal, write a code, and many more. So, it is safe to say that the artificial intelligence tool has helped several people be productive at different times and now, the CEO of Openai is saying that there is more. 

What is the new thing with ChatGPT? 

The CEO of Openai, Sam Altman has disclosed that users of ChatGPT should expect ChatGPT 5 this year. Unlike the previous versions, ChatGPT 5 is coming in a really different way - 

• Better reasoning capabilities

• Improved accuracy

• Video support

Altman explained on a podcast that the upcoming model will encompass multiple modes, including speech, image, code, and video support. He also made it clear that concerns regarding inconsistent responses or the model's difficulty in comprehending queries would be resolved.

“Speech in, speech out. Images. Eventually video, all of these will come out clearly, people really want that. We’ve launched images and audio, and it had a much stronger response than we expected,” he said.

The New Version - ChatGPT 5

Although Sam has not given all of the details that have to do with ChatGPT 5, he has dropped some hints. He shared that ChatGPT 5 is in training already and that there will be a high difference from what was experienced with ChatGPT 4 and Openai is not looking to take a pause on getting better. 

Altman had shared with Bill Gates: “At least for the next 5 or 10 years we will be on a steep improvement curve, this is the stupidest these models will ever be.”

Over time, people have complained about how the current models make up answers, events, and happenings which simply means that most of the responses provided by these models may not be right. 

“If you ask GPT-4 most questions 10,000 times, one of those 10,000 is probably pretty good, but it doesn’t always know which one, and you’d like to get the best response of 10,000 each time, and so that increase in reliability will be important," Altman said. 

Another notable improvement will be the capacity to tailor how the AI answers, behaves and tackles problems. This has been made achievable through the introduction of GPTs, which are personalized chatbots constructed to be superior to ChatGPT. 

People want very different things out of GPT-4,” Altman said, including different styles of responses and even different sets of assumptions when responding. “We’ll make all that possible, and then also the ability to have it use your own data.”
