A list of Tech Events to End the Year 2023 with

If you have buried your head in so much work throughout the year, how about you unwind now that the year is almost over? Tech bros and sis are not just designed to be workaholics and problem solvers; you need to know that there is no reward for not going out to have a good time. You are already reading this article, so this is a cue for you to step out and at least attend an event before the year wraps up. We are aware that you may have an excuse which is "I don't know about any event." - we got it sorted!

Why should I attend a Tech Event?

If you are a tech enthusiast, then attending tech events should be one of the things that you actually enjoy doing, plus it serves as a learning and networking opportunity. So, why pass? Majority of the these events happen in Lagos and people with jobs in Lagos use this opportunity to push their careers a notch higher

When you attend a tech event;

  • You meet professionals from different industries that you can passionately discuss the latest innovations and trends with.

  • You can also have fun while exploring interactive demos and hands-on exhibits.

  • There is a chance to hit a lifetime opportunity, and you never can tell.

  • It is a chance to intentionally balance your work/life.

How to get informed about Upcoming Events

Majority of the excuses people have come up with is that they don't know or hear about these events. If you are someone who would like to attend events, then you must be conversant with social media. Most of the information about these events is available on social media, so use and check Twitter (X), Instagram, and other social media well. Follow pages and handles that promote these events. And, because you follow pages that may be talking about these events, you will most likely get suggestions about other events that you think are out of your reach.
