Position Overview

• We are seeking a talented Senior Web Developer with a minimum of 4 years of experience to join our growing team.
• As a Senior Web Developer, you will be responsible for building, optimizing, and maintaining responsive and user-friendly websites and web applications.
• You will work closely with designers, product managers, and backend developers to ensure that our web solutions meet the highest standards of quality, performance, and security.

Key Responsibilities
Web Development:

• Design, develop, and maintain responsive and dynamic websites and web applications.
• Implement and integrate APIs, front-end logic, and data handling to build seamless user experiences.
• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and optimize user interfaces for maximum speed and scalability.

Collaboration & Communication:

• Work closely with cross-functional teams (designers, product managers, backend developers) to create functional and visually appealing websites.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand project requirements and deliver solutions that meet business objectives.
• Communicate complex technical issues in a clear and understandable manner to non-technical stakeholders.

Maintenance & Optimization:

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to website functionality, performance, and security.
• Monitor and improve website performance, load times, and responsiveness across devices and browsers.
• Maintain, update, and refactor codebases to improve usability, security, and overall site health.

Testing & Quality Assurance:

• Conduct thorough testing (unit, integration, and user acceptance testing) to ensure a bug-free, high-quality product.
• Implement automated testing strategies to enhance development processes.

Continuous Learning & Innovation:

• Stay up-to-date with the latest web development trends, technologies, and industry standards.
• Experiment with new tools and frameworks to improve workflows and efficiency.
• Propose and implement process improvements to enhance team productivity and code quality.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in web development.
• Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (ES6+).
• Experience with front-end libraries and frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).
• Familiarity with backend technologies (e.g., Node.js, PHP, Ruby) and databases (SQL, NoSQL).
• Experience with version control systems such as Git.
• Proficiency in responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
• Knowledge of SEO best practices and website accessibility standards.
• Experience with website performance optimization techniques (e.g., lazy loading, code splitting).

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with content management systems (e.g., WordPress, Shopify, Joomla).
• Familiarity with CSS preprocessors (Sass, LESS) and JavaScript build tools (Webpack, Vite).
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs and WebSockets.
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and deployment strategies.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Trello).

Salary
N500,000 Monthly.
