Job Description
- We are seeking a skilled VFFS Machine Operator/Technician to manage and maintain Vertical Form Fill Seal (VFFS) machines in our packaging line.
- The ideal candidate will ensure smooth operations, resolve technical issues, and uphold quality standards in line with manufacturing protocols.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and operate the VFFS machine by loading materials, setting parameters, and monitoring production to meet specifications.
- Inspect the quality of filled and sealed products, ensuring correct weight, seal integrity, and appearance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve machine issues such as jams, misfeeds, and uneven fills to minimize production downtime.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning, lubrication, and minor repairs, to maintain optimal machine performance.
- Follow all safety protocols and industry standards for food safety, quality, and packaging guidelines.
Experience and Qualifications
- Minimum educational qualification: SSCE.
- 2–5 years of experience operating and maintaining Vertical Form Fill Seal (VFFS) machines.
- Strong understanding of packaging processes, materials, and quality control standards.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve machine-related issues promptly.
- Attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
- Physical ability to lift and move heavy packages as required.
Salary
N150,000 - N200,000 / month.
