Job Description

The Van Sales Representative is responsible for driving sales growth within a designated territory by effectively selling and distributing company products to a network of retail customers. This role requires strong customer service skills, effective route planning, and the ability to build and maintain long-term customer relationships.

Responsibilities:

  • Achieve and exceed assigned sales targets within the designated territory.
  • Effectively manage a sales route, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of products to all assigned customers.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, identifying and maximizing sales opportunities.
  • Acquire new customers within the assigned territory.
  • Ensure accurate and timely order processing and invoicing.
  • Collect payments from customers as per company policy.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and inventory levels.
  • Provide excellent customer service to all customers, addressing any concerns or issues promptly and professionally.
  • Build strong rapport with customers and understand their individual needs and preferences.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction with product quality and delivery services.
  • Resolve customer complaints effectively and efficiently.
  • Manage inventory levels within the assigned vehicle, ensuring adequate stock to meet customer demand.
  • Conduct regular inventory checks and report any discrepancies.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the sales vehicle.
  • Gather market intelligence on competitor activities, customer trends, and market opportunities.
  • Provide regular feedback to management on market conditions and customer feedback.
  • Complete all required sales reports and other administrative tasks accurately and on time.
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures.
  • Participate in sales training and development programs as required.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1-2 years of experience in sales, preferably in the [food and beverage, consumer goods] industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong customer service orientation.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
  • Proven ability to achieve sales targets.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Proficiency in using a smartphone and basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Word).

Experience:

  • Sales: 2 years (Preferred)
