Technical Sales Engineer


Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and deliver technical presentations explaining products and solutions to customers and prospective customers showing how solutions will their business
  • Interacting with engineers or conducting on-site visits to customer facilities to identify customer problems, assess customer facility/equipment to determine protection needs, and recommend products/solutions required to solve the problems.
  • Work with the Sales team to understand customer requirements, develop quotes, and provide sales support to customers.
  • Provide timely, profitable, winning responses to RFQs; secure orders and supervise delivery and product installations for customers.
  • Supporting Independent Distributors, and Systems Integrators with their needs and training them on our products and solutions.
  • Resolving customer complaints by investigating problems, and providing solutions.
  • Preparing and attending Trade Shows.
  • Act as a backup to other sales engineers as needed
  • Frequent weekday travel may be required within and outside Nigeria (occasionally weekend travels may be required).
  • Establish and maintain long-term business relationships with Customers and distributors at all levels, especially decision-makers.


Requirements:

  • Electrical and technical aptitude (HND or Degree required)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Outlook, etc.
  • 1-3 years of Technical Sales experience (Electrical) will be an added advantage
  • Experience selling UPS or Solar solutions Voltage Regulators surge protection and lightning protection solutions etc.
  • Strong technical presentation and communication skills
  • Positive customer-focused attitude
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Self-motivated, able to work independently without close supervision, and have a team mentality


Remuneration: NGN 250,000
