Job Summary

  • The Team Member, Operations and Settlement is responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of the settlement and reconciliation division, ensuring efficient and accurate settlement of transactions, and providing exceptional service to customers.
  • The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Job Details

Operational Support:

  • Assist in the daily operations of the retail division, ensuring smooth and efficient processes.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely and accurate processing of transactions.
  • Support the implementation of operational policies and procedures.

Transaction Settlement:

  • Ensure accurate and timely settlement of all transfers, bills payment and other payments products of the bank.
  • Reconcile transaction records with external counterparties and internal systems.
  • Investigate and resolve any discrepancies or issues related to settlements.

Customer Service:

  • Provide exceptional service to customers, addressing inquiries and resolving issues in a timely manner.
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism and customer satisfaction.
  • Assist in developing and implementing strategies to enhance customer experience.

Compliance and Risk Management:

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant legal, regulatory, and internal requirements.
  • Assist in monitoring and managing operational risks
  • Participate in internal and external audits as required.

Reporting and Documentation:

  • Prepare and maintain accurate records of transactions and settlements.
  • Generate regular reports on operational performance and settlement activities.
  • Ensure proper documentation and filing of all transaction-related records.

Process Improvement:

  • Assist in identifying areas for process improvement and efficiency gains.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of operational enhancements. Support continuous improvement initiatives within the operations division.

Requirements

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good understanding of Payment/Banking operations and settlement processes.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • High ethical standards and integrity.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 0-2 years of experience in retail operations or transaction settlement.
  • Basic Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements is preferred.
  • Experience with transaction processing systems and reconciliation is an asset.
