We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: StoreKeeper

Location: Lekki, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Work Hours: 6–7-hour shifts within the lounge's operational hours (12 PM–2 AM)

Job Summary

  • The Storekeeper is responsible for managing and maintaining inventory to ensure efficient operations of The O Lounge.
  • This role involves tracking stock levels, coordinating deliveries, and ensuring the proper storage and organization of supplies.
  • The ideal candidate must possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and relevant experience in inventory management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and maintain stock levels, ensuring that supplies are replenished in a timely manner.
  • Conduct regular stock checks to identify discrepancies and prevent shortages.
  • Ensure that all stock is properly labeled, stored, and organized in designated areas.
  • Rotate stock to minimize waste and ensure the use of fresh products.
  • Receive and inspect deliveries to verify accuracy and quality of items delivered.
  • Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for the timely delivery of supplies.
  • Maintain accurate records of stock movements, including receipts, issues, and returns.
  • Generate inventory reports and submit them to management as required.
  • Adhere to safety and hygiene regulations for storing food, beverages, and other items.
  • Ensure the store area is clean, organized, and hazard-free.
  • Report directly to the manager and head chef. Work closely with the kitchen, bar, and floor staff to anticipate and fulfill inventory needs.
  • Provide updates to management on stock levels and procurement requirements.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Accuracy and timeliness of inventory tracking and reporting.
  • Minimal stock discrepancies and wastage.
  • Efficiency in stock replenishment and delivery coordination.
  • Compliance with storage safety and hygiene standards.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Storekeeper, Inventory Officer, or in a similar role.
  • Knowledge of inventory management principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in using inventory management software or tools.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
  • Physical ability to lift and move stock items as needed.
  • Availability to work flexible shifts, including evenings and weekends.

Salary
N80,000 - N100,000 monthly.
