We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Software Engineer Instructor
Location: Maryland, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver effective teaching on the IT courses as assigned by the institute
- Provide hands-on training and real-world examples to enhance learning experiences.
- Offer guidance, mentorship, and support to students throughout their learning journey.
- Engage and Inspire Students by creating a motivating and supportive learning environment that encourages students to achieve their full potential.
- Regularly asses and evaluate student performance through assignments, projects, quizzes and exams.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and incorporate them into teaching materials and sessions.
Requirements
- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree or OND in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or any related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of teaching or training experience or equivalent industry experience in software Engineering.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Programming Languages and Front-End tools such as Java, Python, C, C#, JavaScript, HTML, CSS.
- Competence in the software development frameworks and tools such as React, Spring, Django, etc.
- Experience in database management and design e.g. Ms SQL, MongoDB, MySQL, etc.
- Knowledge of Data Analysis is an added advantage.
