Role Summary
- Agu.ng is a forward-thinking fashion retailing firm; we are seeking a creative and strategic Social Media Manager to elevate our brand presence, drive engagement, and convert audiences into loyal customers.
- The ideal candidate will lead the social media strategy, craft compelling narratives, and implement campaigns that align with our brand ethos and business objectives.
- This role goes beyond posting content—it demands a visionary leader who can integrate social media strategies with broader business goals to amplify brand equity, improve customer loyalty, and drive measurable growth in revenue and market share.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop a forward-thinking social media strategy that aligns with Agu.ng’s brand vision, business objectives, and target audience aspirations, driving a significant audience growth and followings.
- Architect a compelling brand narrative that resonates across platforms, emphasizing Agu.ng’s unique identity and market positioning.
- Work closely with the e-commerce and sales operations teams to create shoppable content that drives e-commerce and in-store purchases.
- Oversee the creation of high-quality, on-brand content, including photos, videos, graphics, and copy for all platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, etc.).
- Collaborate with the e-commerce team to align content with seasonal campaigns and promotions and also amplify marketing campaigns and manage online reputation.
- Use social media analytics tools to track and evaluate campaign performance, audience growth, and engagement metrics.
- Provide actionable recommendations for improving social media strategies and ROI and build relationships with followers, influencers, and partners to enhance brand advocacy.
- Drive a vibrant online community by responding to comments, messages, and mentions in a timely, professional, and engaging manner.
- Strategically leverage Agu.ng’s brand values to build trust and emotional connections with diverse audience segments.
- Establish protocols for managing social media crises, ensuring swift and strategic responses that protect and strengthen brand reputation addressing potential reputational risks.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of progressive retail or e-commerce experience in social media management, with a track record of building and scaling a brand’s digital footprint.
- Experience within the fashion retailing industry will be an added advantage.
- Proven expertise in aligning social media strategies with broader business goals.
- Advanced knowledge of social media analytics, advertising platforms, and performance optimization.
- Strong understanding of consumer behavior in retail or e-commerce, particularly in emerging markets like Nigeria.
