Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver creative and engaging social media strategies
- Manage the day-to-day handling of all social media channels such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, TikTok, Snapchat, and YouTube, adapting content to suit different channels and audiences
- Plan and schedule social media content calendars to ensure consistent posting and engagement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute integrated social media campaigns that align with marketing and branding initiatives
- Oversee, plan, and deliver content across different platforms using scheduling tools
- Create and/or coordinate original and engaging multimedia content across multiple social platforms
- Develop, launch, and manage new competitions and campaigns that promote our organization and brand
- Form key relationships with influencers across social media platforms
- Monitor, track, analyse, and report on performance on social media platforms using tools such as Google Analytics and Facebook Insights
- Optimize content to further encourage community interaction and engagement
- Set targets to increase brand awareness and increase engagement and loyalty
- Stay updated on platform-specific features and updates to leverage new opportunities for engagement and growth
- Develop and implement crisis management protocols and response strategies for social media channels
Requirements:
- BSc/HNDin Communications, or related field.
- Minimumof 2 years of experience in social media management
- Proventrack record of developing and implementing successful social media strategiesand campaigns.
- Strongunderstanding of social media platforms, algorithms, and best practices.
- Excellentwritten and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiencyin social media management tools and analytics platforms.
- Teamplayer with excellent collaboration and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of graphic designprinciples and basic video editing skills preferred.
