Social Media Manager


Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Research social media trends
  • Manage all social media platforms
  • Design and implement a social media strategy to align with business goals
  • Generate, edit, publish, and share engaging content (2 to 5 per week)
  • Channel communication to appropriate teams within the organisation
  • Collaborate with other teams (sales, marketing, operations) to ensure brand consistency
  • Monitor the impact of social media activities and continually revise for optimal market performance
  • Conceptualise and implement innovative tactics to increase followers, impressions, engagements, profile visits, likes + shares and drive traffic to other sales & marketing channels
  • Other ad-hoc duties as may be delegated 


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant course of study
  • Experience in a start-up environment
  • 2+ years of relevant working experience
  • Experience in content management
  • Prior work in a service-oriented environment
  • Excellent copywriting skills
  • Verifiable track record in successfully managing and growing commercial social media accounts
