Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing the construction site by clearing debris, unloading materials, and setting up necessary equipment.
- Transport and organize tools, equipment, and construction materials as needed.
- Provide general assistance to construction workers, contractors, or supervisors, including handing tools or equipment.
- Keep the construction site clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Follow safety protocols and report any unsafe conditions or accidents to the site supervisor.
- Assist with maintaining records of tools, equipment, and materials.
- Assist in overseeing the security of tools and materials on the site.
- Operate basic machinery or equipment under supervision (if qualified and authorized).
- Work closely with site managers and workers to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
- Help inspect tools and equipment for wear and tear, reporting any issues to the supervisor.
Requirements:
- A minimum of an HND/BSC in construction-related courses.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in this field.
- Ability to provide support to consultants on the project.
- Ability to follow instructions and work under supervision.
- Basic understanding of construction processes, tools, and safety standards.
- Great communication skills
