Job Title: Security Officer
Location: Lekki Phase 1, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Reports to:Admin. Team Lead
Job Summary
- We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Officer to join our team.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our 24/7 operation, including our office premises, employees, and assets.
- The Security Officer will also be responsible for the daily operation of the office generator and water pump, as well as maintaining accurate records in various logbooks.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the safety and security of the office premises, employees and assets at all times.
- Conduct regular patrols of the office premises to identify and report any security breaches or concerns.
- Operate the office generator on a daily basis, ensuring it is properly maintained and fueled.
- Operate the water pump to supply water to the office.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the following logbooks:
- Staff & Visitors logbooks
- Generator logbook
- Water pump logbook
- Incident/Handover logbook
- Respond promptly and effectively to any security incidents or emergencies that may arise.
- Welcome Visitors to the company.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure a safe and secure working environment.
- Perform any other security-related tasks as assigned by the HR & Admin. Manager/Team Lead.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Security Officer in a similar environment.
- Age: 25-38 years old.
- Secondary School Certificate.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Physical ability to perform security patrols and respond to emergencies.
- Tall and good looking.
Salary
N70,000 - N80,000 Monthly.
