Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Manage inventory on the shelves on a first-in first-out (FIFO) basis.
- Ensure that there are no expired and obsolete products on the shelves.
- Ensure the inventory shelves are clean at all times.
- Assist customers in selecting items from the shelf.
- Communicate out-of-stock items to the Store Manager and follow up for requisition from Head office.
- Attend to other functions assigned by the Store Supervisor and Manager.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 6 months working in a supermarket
- A commitment to excellent customer service.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Superb interpersonal skills, including the ability to quickly build rapport with both customers and suppliers.
