Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop program plans, objectives, and strategies in alignment with the organization's mission and goals.
- Conduct research and assessments to identify community needs and opportunities for program growth.
- Oversee the execution of program activities, ensuring timelines, budgets, and deliverables are met.
- Coordinate with partners, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure seamless program operations.
- Develop and implement monitoring and evaluation frameworks to track program outcomes and impact.
- Prepare reports and presentations on program performance for donors, partners, and the leadership team.
- Build and maintain relationships with beneficiaries, donors, government agencies, and other stakeholders.
- Represent the organization at community events, meetings, and forums related to program activities.
- Manage program budgets and ensure funds are allocated appropriately.
- Identify and pursue funding opportunities, including grant applications and proposals.
- Provide training and technical support to program staff and volunteers.
- Share best practices and lessons learned to enhance program effectiveness.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Development Studies, Non-Profit Management, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in program management, preferably in a non-profit or development sector.
- Strong knowledge of program design, monitoring, and evaluation frameworks.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with project management tools.
- Experience working with diverse communities and a commitment to social justice and equity.
Additional Skills(optional):
- Experience in grant writing and fundraising.
- Knowledge of local languages or cultures relevant to the program area.
- Ability to travel to program sites as needed.
