Job Summary

  • We are seeking a highly motivated and detailed oriented Procurement Officer to manage procurement processes, ensuring timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services while supporting overall supply chain efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the procurement of goods, services, and supplies required for the business.
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies and policies.
  • Identify and evaluate potential suppliers and negotiate contracts.
  • Prepare and issue purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
  • Track inventory levels and ensure stock availability without overstocking.
  • Monitor supplier performance and resolve any issues related to quality, pricing, and delivery.
  • Maintain accurate records of all procurement activities and reports.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., finance, logistics) to ensure smooth procurement processes.
  • Conduct market research to identify new suppliers and cost-saving opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance with legal, ethical, and environmental standards in all procurement activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Procurement & Management, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 4 years of work experience as Procurement Officer.

Other Required skills and competencies:

  • Solid knowledge and understanding of procurement processes, policies, and systems.
  • Must be able to carry out a proper market survey.
  • Ability to negotiate, establish, and administer contracts.
  • Cost Optimization and Project Management skills.
  • Great communication skills.
  • Efficient with Microsoft Office tools, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Good organization and problem-solving skills.
  • Great customer service skills.
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines.
