Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Accurately dispense medications and provide instructions to patients on proper use and potential side effects.
- Provide patient counseling on medications, disease management, and healthy lifestyle choices.
- Perform various clinical services such as immunizations, blood pressure monitoring, and medication therapy management.
- Manage patient medication regimens, including monitoring for potential interactions and adverse effects.
- Assist with inventory management, including ordering and stocking medications and supplies.
- Educate patients on the proper use of medications, devices, and equipment.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medication lists and allergy information.
- Comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including those related to pharmacy practice, patient confidentiality, and controlled substances.
Requirements:
- Current licensure as a Pharmacist in Nigeria.
- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a community pharmacy setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work well in a fast-paced environment, and strong commitment to patient care.
- The preferred candidate should live within Egbeda, Ikotun, Iyana-Ipaja environs
