Position Summary
- The Operations Support Specialist will play a vital role in the company’s logistics activities, supporting the management of existing freight operations and expanding Air and Ocean Freight businesses.
- This position requires operational coordination, customer relationship management, identifying new market opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support daily operations, including bookings, regulatory filings, tracking shipments, and resolve logistics issues.
- Develop and nurture relationships with clients, carriers, partners and vendors.
- Assist in growing the Air and Ocean Freight business by identifying new leads and opportunities.
- Oversee the preparation and review of shipping documentation, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Monitor and analyze operational data to optimize processes and improve efficiency.
- Collaborate with internal teams to enhance service delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Provide operational reports and updates to the General Manager.
- Any other responsibility as may be assigned by the General Manager
Job Specification
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related fields.
- At least two (2) years of experience in marketing, preferably in logistics or related industries.
- Familiarity with Air and Ocean Freight processes and regulations.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace and logistics management systems.
- Excellent written/verbal communication and time management skills.
- Great interpersonal and team-work skills.
- Creativity and attention to detail.
