Scope of work
- Cargo tanks Pre and post export Sampling
- Cargo tanks mid-month and monthly sampling
- Exercise and greasing of Cargo tanks purge valves as required
- Exercise and greasing of Cargo tanks IG inlet valves as required
- Exercise and greasing of Cargo tanks Fresh air inlet valves as required
- Exercise and greasing of Cargo tank 3-way valves as required
- Support removal, carry out blinding and reinstatement of the methanol bunkering hose reel as required
- Support removal, carry out blinding and reinstatement of the Fresh water bunkering hose reel as required
- Support removal, carry out blinding and reinstatement of the Diesel bunkering hose reel as required
- Carry out Cargo tanks hatches opening, closing, and greasing as required
- Carry out Ballast tanks hatches opening, closing, and greasing as required
- Support pump room cleaning and Bilge draining as required
- Support tasks associated with Tanks entry preparation, entry and reinstatement as required.
- Carry out Cargo pumps physical isolation by way of Skillets insertion, removal, blind insertion or /and removal and support valve isolation as required
- Carry out Ballast pumps physical isolation by way of Skillets insertion, removal, blind insertion or /and removal and support valve isolation as required
- Carry out Dirty stripping pumps physical isolation by way of Skillets insertion, removal, blind insertion or /and removal and support valve isolation as required
- Carry out clean stripping pumps physical isolation by way of Skillets insertion, removal, blind insertion or /and removal and support valve isolation as required
- Carry out Cargo tanks physical isolation by way of Skillets insertion, removal, blind insertion or /and removal and support valve isolation as required
- Carry out Ballast tanks physical isolation by way of Skillets insertion, removal, blind insertion or /and removal and support valve isolation as required
- Carry out Methanol tanks physical isolation by way of Skillets insertion, removal, blind insertion or /and removal and support valve isolation as required
- Carry out Ancillary tanks physical isolation i.e. Diesel, Fresh water, Deck drain tanks etc. by way of Skillets insertion, removal, blind insertion or /and removal and support valve isolation as required
- Support and maintain work areas to be clean, safe for operations and tidy.
- Complies with all health and safety policies, procedures, practices, and regulations
- Performs other support duties as required
Qualification
- Over 5 years' Experience working as a Fitter
- Ability to safely use hand and power tools
- Exceptional mechanical skills
- Ability to work as a team
- Attention to duty
- General Knowledge of construction standards and safety procedures
- Experience as a Marine Fitter on ships is an added experience.
