We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Manager

Location: Lekki, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Work Hours: 6 - 7-hour shifts within the lounge's operational hours (12pm - 2am)

Job Summary

  • The Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of The O Lounge, ensuring the smooth execution of all activities while maintaining high standards of service and customer satisfaction.
  • The role involves managing staff, financial operations, inventory, and customer relations.
  • The ideal candidate must be a proactive leader with excellent organizational and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily lounge operations, ensuring efficiency and adherence to established standards.
  • Oversee staff schedules and assign tasks to optimize productivity and service delivery.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.and encourage teamwork and employee engagement.
  • Address customer complaints and inquiries promptly and professionally.
  • Create a welcoming ambience that aligns with The O Lounge’s brand identity.
  • Prepare and manage budgets, including tracking expenses and revenues.
  • Oversee cash handling, daily sales reconciliations, and bank deposits.
  • Analyze financial performance and provide actionable insights to improve profitability.
  • Monitor inventory levels to ensure the availability of all necessary supplies.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and vendors for timely delivery of high-quality products.
  • Implement cost-effective inventory control measures.
  • Collaborate with clients and internal teams to plan and execute events at the lounge.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Staff retention and performance metrics.
  • Customer satisfaction scores and feedback.
  • Revenue growth and budget adherence.
  • Efficiency in inventory management and cost control.
  • Successful execution of events and promotions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a managerial role within the hospitality industry.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in financial management and reporting.
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations in the hospitality sector.

Salary
N200,000 - N400,000 Monthly (depending on experience).
