Job Summary
- We are currently seeking an experienced and dynamic Lawyer to join our legal team.
- This in-person role will focus on providing legal support within the financial sector and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Role Overview
- As a Lawyer, you will be responsible for advising the organization on a variety of legal issues related to financial services.
- You will work closely with other departments to ensure the institution adheres to legal and regulatory standards while protecting its interests.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents
- Advise on regulatory compliance, financial regulations, and corporate governance matters
- Represent the institution in legal proceedings, including disputes or negotiations with clients, regulators, or third parties
- Conduct legal research on financial regulations and evolving legal trends in the financial sector
- Collaborate with internal departments to mitigate legal risks and ensure proper compliance with laws and regulations
- Monitor and interpret changes in laws and regulations that affect the financial industry.
Requirements
- Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor`s Degree in Law
- A Qualified Lawyer with a valid practicing license
- 5-7 years of experience in financial law, banking, or corporate law
- In-depth knowledge of financial regulations, compliance, and legal risk management
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- High attention to detail and organizational skills
