- L2 - Security Architect is responsible for designing and implementing secure systems and integrating security solutions into the organization’s existing IT infrastructure.
- This role involves conducting thorough risk assessments, developing robust security policies, and ensuring that all security measures are aligned with the organization's overall strategy.
- The Security Architect will collaborate closely with IT and business units to provide comprehensive protection for the organization's assets, data, and systems.
- This role is critical for maintaining a secure and resilient IT environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement secure IT systems and architectures, ensuring integration with existing infrastructure.
- Conduct detailed risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- Develop, implement, and maintain security policies, procedures, and standards that align with industry best practices and organizational goals.
- Collaborate with IT teams and business units to ensure that security considerations are integrated into all aspects of the organization's operations.
- Evaluate and select security products and technologies to enhance the organization's security posture.
- Provide expert guidance during security incidents and conduct post-incident reviews to identify gaps and improve defenses.
- Stay current with the latest security trends, threats, and technologies to continuously enhance the security architecture.
Experience Required:
- 5-7 years of experience in IT and cybersecurity roles, with significant experience in security architecture or design.
- Proven track record of designing and implementing secure systems in large and complex environments.
- In-depth knowledge of security technologies such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, encryption, and endpoint protection.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CCSP are highly desirable.
