Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests with a warm and friendly attitude.
- Assist guests with seating arrangements and provide menus.
- Answer questions about menu items, specials, and amenities.
- Take and deliver orders accurately and promptly.
- Ensure guests' needs are met throughout their visit.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas.
- Set up tables according to restaurant standards.
- Assist in preparing and serving beverages and desserts.
- Clear and reset tables efficiently between guests.
- Work closely with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate order delivery.
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate service.
- Support colleagues in other areas as needed to maintain smooth operations.
- Work closely with management to ensure the smooth running of daily operations and address any guest concerns promptly.
- Handle guest complaints and concerns with professionalism and empathy.
- Provide information about Magida Gardens' services and events.
- Uphold Magida Gardens' standards of service excellence at all times.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a hospitality or customer service role is preferred but not required.
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- A positive attitude and a passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
