Job Description
Background
- We are looking for a skilled and experienced Honeykeeper to join our NIKO Farm team and contribute to the success of our honey production operations.
- NIKO Farm is dedicated to producing high-quality honey and maintaining sustainable agricultural practices.
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain bee colonies to ensure optimal honey production.
- Conduct routine inspections of hives to monitor the health and productivity of bees.
- Implement best practices for honey harvesting and extraction.
- Maintain and clean all honeykeeping equipment and tools.
- Monitor and manage hive pests and diseases.
- Ensure safety and quality control during all honey production processes.
Requirements
- NCE / OND / SSCE with 5 - 10 years experience.
- Proven experience in honeykeeping with a track record of successful honey production.
- Strong knowledge of bee colony management, hive health, and pest control.
- Ability to deliver results and meet production targets.
- Physical fitness and the ability to work outdoors in varying conditions.
- Must be available to work two days a week.
- Ready to resume immediately.
