Job Description

A reputable Insurance Broking firm, a major player in the Nigerian Insurance Industry with proven track record of excellence for four decades seeks to hire a result-oriented professional as its Head of Northern Region (Sales/Business Development). 

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the company\'s marketing and sales initiatives
  • Own and hit/exceed annual sales targets
  • Effectively communicate value proposition through proposals and presentations
  • Aggressively grow the firm’s customer base
  • Participate in Client review meetings, external audit feedback sessions and new business tender processes
  • Build and Enhance strong relationships with existing and potential clients by offering viable solutions 
  • Make necessary improvements to ensure optimal operating efficiency across all functions of the business
  • Prepare and submit monthly and periodic activity/sales reports on the success of your sales endeavours

Requirements

  • BSc/HND in Insurance, Marketing or other related field
  • Must be an Associate Member of Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria or Chartered Insurance Institute, UK 
  • 5 - 8 years of High-Level Sales/Marketing Experience
  • Minimum of 5 years Management Experience in the Insurance Industry 
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
  • Personality: A go-getter, enthusiastic and results-oriented 
  • Ability to Build, Manage and Lead High-Performance Teams
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Good reporting skills
