Job Summary

  • A leading perfume company is recruiting for the role of Business Development Executive.
  • The role requires a smart person who is willing to drive sales growth, expand brand presence and create a partnership to increase market share.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement business development strategies to drive revenue growth and market expansion.
  • Conduct market analysis to identify new business opportunities, industry trends, and potential partnerships.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to align business development initiatives with organizational goals.
  • Build and nurture relationships with existing and prospective clients, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Identify and negotiate strategic partnerships, joint ventures, and collaborations to enhance the company’s market position.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.
  • Develop and oversee sales strategies, ensuring achievement of revenue targets.
  • Create tailored proposals, pitches, and presentations for potential clients and partners.
  • Monitor sales performance metrics and adjust strategies as needed
  • Set clear KPIs for team members and provide regular feedback and development opportunities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., marketing, product development) to achieve business objectives.
  • Stay updated on market dynamics, competitors, and emerging technologies.
  • Provide insights to the leadership team to support strategic decision-making.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive knowledge of the company’s products/services.
  • Supervise all Branch Managers, and be able to recreate working structures
  • Shall have oversight over ALL Business-related department
  • Identification and acquisition of new marketing locations
  • Show interest in non-Nigerian locations. Must have core administrative and interpersonal skills
  • Must be able to handle multiple responsibilities within excellent time management
  • Must be able to constantly buy-in and demonstrate understanding of the company's vision and culture.
  • Manager Must be able to always prepare and review industry trends, threats and opportunities
  • Must have broad knowledge to be able to work with little or no supervision

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 7–10 years of proven experience in business development, sales, or a related field, with at 7 years’ experience in the Fragrance industry knowledge of the niche space would be an added advantage.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute successful growth strategies.
