Job Summary
- A leading perfume company is recruiting for the role of Business Development Executive.
- The role requires a smart person who is willing to drive sales growth, expand brand presence and create a partnership to increase market share.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement business development strategies to drive revenue growth and market expansion.
- Conduct market analysis to identify new business opportunities, industry trends, and potential partnerships.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to align business development initiatives with organizational goals.
- Build and nurture relationships with existing and prospective clients, partners, and stakeholders.
- Identify and negotiate strategic partnerships, joint ventures, and collaborations to enhance the company’s market position.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.
- Develop and oversee sales strategies, ensuring achievement of revenue targets.
- Create tailored proposals, pitches, and presentations for potential clients and partners.
- Monitor sales performance metrics and adjust strategies as needed
- Set clear KPIs for team members and provide regular feedback and development opportunities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., marketing, product development) to achieve business objectives.
- Stay updated on market dynamics, competitors, and emerging technologies.
- Provide insights to the leadership team to support strategic decision-making.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive knowledge of the company’s products/services.
- Supervise all Branch Managers, and be able to recreate working structures
- Shall have oversight over ALL Business-related department
- Identification and acquisition of new marketing locations
- Show interest in non-Nigerian locations. Must have core administrative and interpersonal skills
- Must be able to handle multiple responsibilities within excellent time management
- Must be able to constantly buy-in and demonstrate understanding of the company's vision and culture.
- Manager Must be able to always prepare and review industry trends, threats and opportunities
- Must have broad knowledge to be able to work with little or no supervision
Qualifications and Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
Experience:
- Minimum of 7–10 years of proven experience in business development, sales, or a related field, with at 7 years’ experience in the Fragrance industry knowledge of the niche space would be an added advantage.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute successful growth strategies.
Skills
