Role Accountabilities

Provide research, planning and implementation support on the implementation, monitoring and reporting of the organization’s ESG strategy and Energy Transition Plan
Collate, analyze, and interpret data related to carbon emissions and other sustainability-related metrics.
Support the annual production of ESG/Sustainability Report(s) through innovative design and communications strategies.
Keep abreast of legislation& ESG policies applicable to the organization.
Work with Risk function in OpCos to develop ESG Risk management framework for continuous monitoring.
Develop and implement communication strategy for sustainability reporting and initiatives
Work with diverse teams to identify opportunities for emissions reduction and responsible and promotion of sustainable business practices.
Identify areas for improvement in sustainability practices and propose innovative solutions to enhance the organization’s sustainability performance.
Manage a portfolio of sustainability projects and track progress
Policy research and development.

Requirements

A bachelor’s degree in the environmental or social sciences, or relevant field
At least 7 years post NYSC work experience in relevant role(s).
Strong passion for sustainability and environmental responsibility
Excellent analytic and problem-solving skills
Strong creative communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work together in a global, cross-functional team
Proficiency in data analysis tools and software is desirable
Demonstrates ability to meet deadlines, determine priorities and organize work to meet objectives and identify and deal with problems
Ability to maintain strong relationships with external parties and internal colleagues
Knowledgeable in ESG policies
