Job Summary
- We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced teacher for IGCSE Geography and History.
- The ideal candidate will inspire students with engaging lessons, foster critical thinking, and help them achieve outstanding results in these key subjects.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach IGCSE Geography and History, following the Cambridge International curriculum.
- Prepare and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons that meet IGCSE standards.
- Plan and execute lessons, assignments, and projects to develop students' understanding of geographical and historical concepts.
- Prepare students for internal and external IGCSE examinations, ensuring excellent academic performance.
- Provide differentiated instruction to meet the diverse needs and learning styles of students.
- Use innovative teaching methods and technology to enhance learning experiences.
- Monitor and assess students' progress, providing regular feedback to students and parents.
- Collaborate with colleagues to promote cross-curricular connections and enrichment.
- Encourage a love for Geography and History while fostering critical thinking and global awareness.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in Geography, History, Education, or a related field (a master’s degree is an advantage).
- Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in IGCSE Geography and History.
- Deep knowledge of the Cambridge International curriculum and examination standards.
- Proven track record of helping students achieve excellent results in IGCSE exams.
- Strong communication and classroom management skills.
- Proficiency in using technology to support teaching and learning.
- A passion for inspiring students and fostering their academic and personal growth.
