Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Transport goods, employees, or clients todesignated locations promptly and safely.
- Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections ofvehicles to ensure they are in excellent working condition.
- Plan and follow the most efficient routes,taking into account traffic and road conditions.
- Ensure compliance with traffic laws andcompany safety policies.
- Assist with loading and unloading goodswhen necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of trips,including mileage and fuel usage.
- Schedule regular vehicle maintenance andreport any issues immediately.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of professional drivingexperience.
- Valid driver’s licensewith a clean driving record.
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of local and regionalroutes.
- Excellent driving skills with a commitmentto safety.
- Ability to manage time effectively and meetschedules.
- Basic understanding of vehicle maintenance.
- Strong communication and interpersonalskills.
- Physically fit to assist withloading/unloading when required.
- Experience driving different types ofvehicles (e.g., cars, vans, trucks).
- Prior experience in a similar role in acorporate or logistics environment.
