Job Description

Education and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field.
  • Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) or related field is a plus.
  • Certification in digital marketing, sales, or a related field is desirable.

Experience

  • At least 3-5 years of experience in digital media sales, marketing, or subscriptions management.
  • Proven track record of success in driving revenue growth and managing digital subscriptions.
  • Experience working with online newspapers, media companies, or digital publishing platforms is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and Execute Sales Strategies: Develop and execute effective sales strategies to drive digital subscription revenue growth.
  • Manage Digital Subscriptions: Manage digital subscriptions, including customer acquisition, retention, and upselling/cross-selling.
  • Analyze Data and Identify Trends: Analyze data, identify trends, and make informed decisions to optimize sales strategies.
  • Lead and Manage a Team: Lead and manage a team of sales and marketing professionals to achieve sales targets.
  • Build Relationships with Customers and Stakeholders: Build strong relationships with customers, colleagues, and stakeholders to drive revenue growth and improve customer satisfaction.

Performance Metrics

  • Digital Subscription Revenue Growth: Achieve year-over-year digital subscription revenue growth targets.
  • Customer Acquisition and Retention: Meet customer acquisition and retention targets.
  • Sales Conversion Rates: Achieve sales conversion rate targets.
