Job Description
- Graphic designerscreate visual concepts, using computer software or by hand, to communicate ideas that inspire, inform, and captivate consumers.
- They develop the overall layout and production design for applications such as advertisements, brochures, magazines, and reports.
Responsibilities
Graphic designers create visual representations of ideas and information for a variety of materials, such as websites, brochures, and logos.Their responsibilities include:
Conceptualization:
- Based on client briefs, project goals, and target audience preferences, graphic designers generate creative ideas and design solutions.
Visual design
- Using design software and hand-held tools, graphic designers create visually appealing designs that meet client needs.
Collaboration:
- Graphic designers work with clients, marketing teams, copywriters, photographers, and other designers to develop creative solutions.
Communication:
- Graphic designers use excellent verbal and written communication skills to understand client requirements, present design ideas, and collaborate with team members.
Time management:
- Graphic designers use strong organizational skills to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
Revisions and feedback:
- Graphic designers make revisions based on client feedback and ensure the final design meets the project's needs.
Quality assurance:
- Graphic designers' quality assures designs for errors.
Final design:
- Graphic designers pass the final design to development or publishing teams for release.
Salary
N100,000 - N120,000 per month.
